If you're looking for an excuse to fit a bit more exercise into your weekly routine or get to know your fellow Surf Coast neighbours, community-run social volleyball is back for 2023, at Wurdi Baierr Stadium from 6pm to 8:30pm. Location: 36 Wadawurrung Way, Torquay VIC 3228. There is also a vending machine on-site just in case you forget to bring your water bottle or need a quick snack.
You may have seen us playing on the beach or on grass over summer but we're back for our indoor mixed social competition. We provide a safe inclusive community environment for all and promote a healthy and active lifestyle. No matter what your experience is with the sport, we have players of all skills and if you're new to volleyball, no sweat, we'll help you get up to speed as you play and match you up with a team.
We also offer a youth program to encourage active kids and provide a alternative sport option. Our youth Spikezone program for age 8–13 and Junior development program for 13-17 runs from 5:15pm to 6pm on Thursdays. If you are interested in our youth programs, feel free to get in touch with us by emailing: info [at] scva.org.au
